The Race

Max is a freelance illustrator and concept designer from Australia. Doodling eventually found its way into his high school notebooks, doodles which eventually evolved into comics. His career began while living in London, where his clientele grew internationally. Max's work is focused on apocalyptic landscapes and the characters who inhabit and survive them. These themes have found their way into The Race, where wacky wild creatures dash across an arid desert landscape. 

Hailing from a background in more traditional mediums, he uses the digital realm to explore concepts and ideas quickly. These days, Max blends a technique of traditional inking and digital colouring to produce his art.
